Thupparivalan - You can run but can't hide!!!

Let me start my take on this movie by saying, if you have watched Sherlock series (Benedict Cumberbatch's version), then you may find lot of similarities in this movie. Yes, these similarities are kept in the movie to give the audience the view from a detective's perspective, but still could have come up with few own ideas. However, a well deserved applause to both the director (Mysskin) and the producer (Vishal) for making this movie. One big difference you would be able to notice in this movie is that the director has come out from the darkness, literally!!! From the opening sequence till the end, the movie is bright.. brighter and sometimes brightest!!! Kudos to the director to change the style of his movie making!!! The biggest credit for this movie should go to the music composer, Aarol Corelli, for the tremendous BGM. The movie doesn't have any songs (which is very good for the movie's pace) however, the BGM is pretty much effective. The BGM travels along wit

Dunkirk - Speech "Less"

We have seen directors changing the movie genre from one movie to another. Christopher Nolan's earlier movies (Memento, Prestige, Batman Series, Interstellar) was different from each other but then everything had a common factor - Imagination. The director's imagination to portray a story with believable screenplay was primarily the common factor in his previous ventures. Dunkirk is entirely a different approach by the director. Being a movie based on the real happenings during the WWII, there is not much to think or understand - compared to his other creations!!! The entire movie is based on only two elements - Visual & Sound!!! I guess the director's vision of conveying the story was through these two mediums alone. The entire movie is taken based on 3 perspectives - Air, Land & Sea. You will have to be very patient throughout the movie since most of the time, the director has preferred to convey the emotions through music and fantastic visuals covering the

VIVEGAM - ONE MAN SHOW!!!!

My view about the movie VIVEGAM!!! (Contain Spoilers) A good attempt by the entire crew to lift the standard of the action movies in Tamil Movie industry. Yes, the movie is having flaws but an attempt without a flaw is unheard of. Let us hope that whoever responsible learns from these flaws. You always get wiser after the incident. First & foremost, one has to applaud and appreciate Ajith Kumar (AK) for the commendable effort and dedication shown to ensure that he portrays the character in a believable way. The vision of the director in depicting the hero will always be in words but the hero's job is to transform the words to action. I guess that is what has happened in this movie. Secondly, the visuals are stunning. Being entirely shot in Europe, the visuals are quite exuberant and the camera work is awesome. Not only the camera work but the team responsible for location hunting should also be given a pat on their back. We may have seen few instances of great loca

THE BEAST UNLEASHED!!!!

In the month of Jan 2017, I was happy to have accomplished and share with you all, my first ever bike trip to Kodaikaanal  and it was an amazing experience. By the end of the Kodai trip, myself and my friend were contemplating the idea of going on another trip probably few months later. And now, after 7 months, we have completed an awesome bike trip and I am very eager to share the trip along with you all. Ever since we completed the Kodai trip, whenever we met, we always ensured to remind ourselves that we have to go on another trip somewhere, sometime soon. Finally, we decided to use the long weekends in the month of August 2017. As always, there were initial hiccups on deciding the places, between Wayaanad/Ooty and finally out of nowhere the thought of Coorg lit us bright. Planning Phase: After much discussions, the date was fixed and by 25th July 2017, we decided and confirmed that we shall be doing a bike trip to Coorg (Madikeri) and the route plan will be CHENNAI - CO
